We at Slade & Collins Insurance Agency believe our clients should know and understand what they are buying with their insurance dollars. Using the reasoning that you wouldn’t buy a chair without sitting in it first, or a car without a test-drive, or a house without an inspection, we believe that you shouldn’t purchase insurance without at least a rudimentary understanding of what exactly it is that you are buying.

With that belief, we have created this section on our website with the aim not of making you an insurance expert, but allowing you to explore this section to learn a bit about how insurance works, what some of the terms mean, and how we work on your behalf with the companies we represent.

The following are many of the common questions that our clients ask us. By necessity the answers are general in nature, intended to give you an idea of how insurance works.
